Tasha Bohorad

Tasha is an 11th grader at Andover from Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania. She joined WIF to learn more about business and economics in a comfortable space and push herself to explore the intersection and application of finance with her other interests. At Andover, she is an admissions tour guide, dorm prefect, event coordinator, and loves her Spanish Literature class. She is also on Varsity Cross Country, Wrestling, and Track and Field.

Pia Chhabra

Pia Chhabra is currently a Junior (9th Grade, class of 2028) at Phillips Academy Andover.  She is a boarding student from Newton, MA, and lives in Nathan Hale. Pia loves math and has been passionate about Finance since a young age learning about stock markets from her mom. She joined Women in Finance to deepen her industry knowledge and contribute by sharing what she has learned.  On campus, she enjoys participating in various clubs, playing piano, rowing, studying in the library, and hanging out with her friends.

Lena Ciganer-Albeniz

Lena Ciganer-Albeniz is a 4-year senior from Tokyo, Japan. On campus, she is a 2 year-captain of the Varsity Tennis Team and a leader in the PASC and Wings Initiative. Lena joined WIF because of her interest in the business world and to be able to meet other girls on campus with a similar mindset! In her free time, she loves listening to music and watching sports. Lena's super excited to be a part of the WIF board!

Mercan Draman

Mercan is a two year upper from Seattle, WA who currently lives in Istanbul, Turkey. This year, she's stacking in Stowe, and on campus she is on the board of Andover Business Club, a Social Media Ambassador, a SWANA member, and plays on the Girls Varsity A Tennis Team. After interning at a venture capital firm in Istanbul this summer, she realized how rare it is to find women in leadership roles in finance. So, she hopes that WIF can inspire girls to believe in themselves and break this norm.

Hannah Jung

Hannah Jung currently attends Phillips Academy as a ninth grader from Houston, Texas. She joined Women in Finance with no prior experience but hopes to learn and understand more about this area. On campus, Hannah trains diligently to competitively jump rope at the national level and also runs on the Phillips Academy cross-country team as a varsity runner.  When she isn't running or jump roping, Hannah can be spotted frequenting the practice rooms in the basement of Cochran Chapel as an enthusiastic guzheng, or Chinese harp, and piano player for seven years now.

Sarolta Vegso

Sarolta is a new international senior from Budapest, Hungary. She's thrilled to join the WIF team because she believes finance is a topic that impacts everyone’s life, and financial literacy is essential for leading a mindful life. On campus, Sarolta illustrates for The Phillipian—drawing is one of her greatest passions. She has been playing the recorder for 13 years, which has given her a close relationship with music. Here at Andover, Sarolta's also part of a chamber music group. Additionally, she's working on publishing a research paper on venture capital.

Sophia Zhan

Sophia is a junior from Atlanta, Georgia, who is a painter, debater, dancer, math competitor, and programmer on campus. She is passionate about exploring contemporary economic issues and reads the news in her free time. With a background in DECA competitions in Accounting and Finance from middle school, Sophia is eager to pursue her studies in finance through WIF at Andover. She hopes to inspire other girls on campus by sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for finance while also enhancing her own financial analysis skills.
